Introduction

Sharm Wheels ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Sharm Wheels mobile application for renting scooters, bikes, and similar vehicles in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the app, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

• Account data: name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and password (if you register with email).
• Sign-in providers: if you use Google or Apple Sign-In, we receive basic profile information from those services as permitted by your account settings.
• Location data: GPS coordinates when you set a delivery point, use "my location", or during an active rental (including background location while a ride is in progress) to deliver vehicles, track rentals, and improve safety.
• Booking & order data: vehicle selections, rental dates, delivery notes, shop orders, and payment method preference (cash on delivery).
• Communications: messages you send through in-app support chat.
• Device & app data: push notification tokens (FCM), app language and currency preferences, and basic device information needed to run the service.
• Photos: images you choose to upload for your profile or admin-managed content (if applicable).

How We Use Your Information

• Create and manage your account.
• Process rental and shop orders, including delivery to your location.
• Send transactional notifications (booking updates, delivery status, rental reminders).
• Provide customer support and respond to your messages.
• Improve app performance, security, and user experience.
• Comply with legal obligations.

Third-Party Services

We use trusted providers to operate the app, including:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database (Firestore), cloud storage, push notifications, and server functions.
• Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In — optional account creation and login.
• Maps links — opening external map apps (e.g. Google Maps) when you choose to navigate to a location.

These services have their own privacy policies. We only share data necessary to provide our services.

Data Retention & Security

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. We use industry-standard security measures through Firebase and restrict access to authorized personnel only.

Your Rights

Children
